  1. You are so lucky to be invited to the local's home and the amazing native ceremony. They are experiences that money can't buy. Taiwan is so unique in so many aspects.

  10. Taroko was absolutely stunning. I did the Baiyang trail after the zhuilu trail which was also nice. While the cliff outpost is not for the faint of the heart, it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. But it's my favorite thing about Taiwan for sure! I'd love to do the pebble beach and kayaking next time!

  16. Cracking filming on the mountain pass, with the strings in the background. That was bloody intense ? well done chaps. Oh as an aside Paddy, finally made it to Myanmar (inspired by your mini series), watching this video, jetlagged in Mandalay Keep up the good work guys ?

  18. You know, Damian being part of a Taiwanese indigenous tribe isn’t as far fetched as you think. Taiwanese indigenous people are considered the origin of the Austronesian language/ethnic group. At some point a small group left the south of Taiwan on oceanfaring boats and ended up becoming the progenitor to the populations of the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pacific Islands, New Zealand Maori and beyond.

  21. Paddy every time I watch your videos, I’m always shocked at how you’re able to walk long distance and hike in Chucks. My shins would be on fire, and I would have shin splints for days??. Cheers to the dope episode.

  26. Guys, you're experienced travelers and all this stuff. But please don't do selfies on the edge of a cliff. Because screen might have trick you into bending too far! Be safe, Budgeteers ?
