香港领导人林郑月娥警告说，如果该市的暴力事件进一步升级，中国军队可能会介入。林郑月娥在每周一次的新闻发布会上说，香港的经济正遭受数周的抗议活动以及警察与示威者之间经常发生的冲突而遭受的巨大苦难。这位四面楚歌的领导人还保证说，她的政府目前没有计划使用紧急权力来引入更多新法律。反面具法生效
