Your laptop doesn’t support Wi-Fi ac you’ll never see wireless speed above 35-50mb on your windows laptop. Your iPhone and Mac support the wireless ac standard and that’s why your seeing speeds close to what you would expect. If you run a test with Ethernet you should of seen higher speeds yet.

I need help I got the dual band router from xfinity and I test the speed which comes up with a total of 233mbps but when I test it on my PlayStation it says 40 mbps and I average around 60-400 ping which makes me laggy is there anything I should do to improve my WiFi because this is frustrating

I dont know if you got it straightened out, i found this video cause I just reset my router, I have blast internet.. 1 step below extreme, and WOW i'm getting 350 mbps now and 25 uploads. I took my pc apart to clean it, and after turning it back on and restarting I went from like 170 mbps 11up, to this 350 mbps down, 25 up.. i'm not sure wtf happened.. but i'm happy with that LOL

you need to get a better router/modem bro modem/router they can get the internet slow over time.. i had the same problem and when i got the new orbi my internet went superfast
Why not just ask for a faster speed on the GB plan like 100 mbps rather than 60 or 300 mbps
you are not even getting 50% of claimed speeds. American Internet system is a scam xD.
Maybe the reason your pc was slower was because you were screen recording. I don't know how old that computer is, but on my old mac book air, if I try to screen record while doing a speed test, I only get like 30 mbps while I'm not I get like 100+.
Cable and dsl suck! everything needs to be upgraded to fiber. Cable can only do like 50 mbps upload, where fiber you can do gigabit plus upload.
I get 202-205 mbps down and 240-250 mbps upload!
I live in the boondocks and use Hughesnet. It’s ok, but the data plan on my phone and iPad are much faster. I stay up late and watch YouTube or Netflix because from 2-8am usage isn’t counted against you. I just read John Seaver’s comment and was reminded I could get a faster speed by connecting via an Ethernet cord. ??
