  1. The Catholic Church is not biblical and not a church of God . They blasphemy Jesus by having a man forgive sins Mark 2:6-10 . They Worship carved images Exodus 20:4 . They pray to man and not just Jesus 1timothy 2-5 . Remove yourself from this church and turn to the Lord . We must be born again to make it into heaven John 3-5. Turn to the father

  2. Serial killer then Cardinal then Pope resigned to become a god in a robot world then he faked his death to rule over Asgard as Odin almighty ..That's a true evolution

  3. jesus the christ the healer apperently did not teach what to eat and waht not to eat and drink clergy had no way to remain healthy without healthy food and proper method meditation practice to releif prevent and heal stress POPE must speak with st Hildegard von BIngen and institute Hildegard Kueche in vatican

  4. Mind you, this movie is one of the best. I was raised Catholic, learned to be Agnostic and I cried and laugh at the same time watching this movie.

The characthers are majestic. I'm afraid to say this but lookong forward to visit the Church after this COVID 19 concerns subsides

  5. What a movie!! It’s amazing, very realistic and very deep, emotional and touching. I’m an Episcopal Christian (so not a Catholic) but this is easily one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.

  6. This movie intentionally made emeritus Benedict a bad person. They may have used some facts, like the sandals, but otherwise its just a movie most likely a leftist or progressive agenda behind it.

  7. This trailer does not reflect the movie, only some of the three main conversations between both protagonists.
The whole Bergoglio past in Argentina is missing….and that´s about 60% of the footage and perhaps the most outstanding part: the past of the current pope is a real surprise …Francis I is just the tip of the iceberg in Bergoglio´s life. The years of the Argentinian junta (1976-1982) are the hashest confession of the real protagonist. Ratzinger's life and character, by contrast, is just sketched in the movie: nothing really new about him is revealed.
I translated and adapted the subtitles for hearing impaired people: it takes a real effort to convey the nuances in the characterization of both protagonists.

  8. Unpopular opinion : Jonathan price's accent here is perfectly identical to those who are non-native English speaker that I wouldnt have known he was actually an English

  9. This movie was incredible! I wouldn't say I cried the entire time, but it was like a constant tearing up. It might just be because religious stuff makes me emotional, but this movie is so powerful nonetheless. Also 20 minutes into the movie I forgot what the actual Pope looked like the casting was so good.

  10. Adorei o filme.Sem deixar de sublinhar o Anthony Hopkins dando como sempre aquela lição de interpretação. E o Jonathan Pryce também se saiu muito bem…

  11. Remember folks, this is just a movie. As McCarten stated himself: 'Broadly true.' I thought, that's close enough for me." So not to be confused with accurately true. Enjoy the MOVIE!

  12. On Netflix ad tag:
    Pope: "God does no change.:
    2nd pope: "yes, he does."

Bible: Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I change not."

    First pope has it right.
