This face shield is designed to be printed in under 20 minutes !!! So how do you get it to take three hours ?! That would be worth a video
thank u
Using an Ender 3, the limiting factor is really the flow-rate of the 0.4 nozzle. Did print with 100% perimeters (as suggested by designer) for rigidity and easy cleaning. 0.32 mm layer-height, 200% layer-width, which shaved about 30 minutes off the print time. Took between 40-55 minutes depending on filament.
Changing the pattern to concentric would help a lot !
Nice video har faktiskt letat efter ett set att snabba upp "Utskrifts tiden"
Check this out.. Light version face shield.. 36 minutes printing time. https://youtu.be/P6acpQA08r0

Hi, is there a Simplify3D profile available please?
We print stacks of them at 17min a piece with just a 0.4mm nozzle. We redesigned them to make them stronger (chamfered walls to stack the layers like a brick wall), faster (smaller top and bottom surface) and better stackeable/splittable (also due to the smaller top/bottom surface). On top of that, PrusaSlicer does a better job at faster/more logical gap fill. Our remix of the faceshield is downloadable at MyMiniFcatory (A better and faster stackeable visor/faceshield)
Maybe increasing the speed at which top layers are printed could squiz something.
I see a flashforge adventure 3 in the back. I’d like to buy one of those. Has it been reliable for you? Thanks!
Don't the recommended settings for the Swedish stl models say that the infill should be 0% and the model be 100% shells?
Awesome. Have you seen this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4257166/files
Checkout Klipper for the real "rapid"-prototyping.
Then 120 mm/s are quite low on a delta.
.. for sure it depends on your printer setup.. but you will be surprised how fast without decreasing printquality can go.
Got 25min on MK2.5S with 0.4mm nozzle on 0.35 layer
Velocidad Vs Calidad…..
How would I us the Prusa Slic3r software to get the same time savings?
how on earth can you visualize those color on Cura mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn?
Who the heck is this, a bloated Justin Bieber?
Will this be CE approved in Sweden? I dont thinks so, (autoklavera). But its better than nothing.
Great video
Iam print face shield for my local business and hospital and use (Toledo) face shield
Would the setting work on my creality ender 3pro
Thanks
Stay safe
Interesting, some good tips and tweaks. I think i´m at around 20 minutes but with a 0.6mm nozzle right now.
Useful info starts 2 minutes in.
1.0mm nozzle here, faster but the printer eats filament like crazy
If you're printing the 3DVerkstan model shown in my video, make sure you DONT go overkill – Quality over quantity! – See that particular models optimal settings here: https://3dverkstan.se/protective-visor/protective-visor-print-guide/

Could yo gain some speed by printing 0.5 lines?
Why you don’t show the printed result of the product? So we can see how far the optimization did well.
Anton – This is a really good subject, that should be addressed much more. Obviously the faceshield printing will benefit hugely since many more can be produced in the same time. Going forward (After the pandemic) however I think the subject is very interesting. Most 3d printing videos address the quality to much. Print quality is important but many times, time is just as important. Sometimes youwant to print a functional part and you are concerned with strength and getting the part printed fast – the finished look is not that important. Btw. Stefan just released a video with the same subject – just another shield.
