Travolta almost looked like Gotti when this came out.
I am a gotti fan but this movie should have been made better….
Just watched this on Prime. I must say, as bad a movie as it is, and make no mistake, it IS a bad film, but Travolta at least TRIES to do something with the role. Call me insane but I sort of liked what he brought to the table. Over the top, fake NY accent, did what he does best. He gave the role a little Travolta-ism! But the film, Madonn’! Horribly edited, random soundtrack, scenes seem to be just randomly inserted into the film with no rhyme or reason whatsoever.
This movie Sucked….
Such a waste. They chose the wrong director, the wrong cast, & the wrong producers to make a movie that woulda easily been the best mob movie ever made & now it's one of the worst ones ever made. Smh it's a damn shame.

I finally watched the movie Gotti staring John Travolta. It's my understanding the Gotti family, especially John JR. Insisted on having creative input to ensure an accurate portrayal of the real John Gotti. That being said, why didn't they include a scene of John Gotti getting his ass kicked for popping off at the mouth to the wrong prisoner while serving his life sentence. The Gotti family seem to have such great reverence and respect for John Gotti Sr. when in reality Gotti was the stupidest mob boss in history. Gotti completely ran the Gambino family into the ground because of his ignorance and arrogance. POS Gotti.
This is pass its time. Im no longer interested in watching. Its been what? (10 years in red tape) plus John Travolta sucks at being a gangster
