8. Lon amazing video. Just what I needed! Question, can I run a VPN server off a Windows computer that runs 24/7 in my house? I use it as a surveillance camera server and would like to access the cameras from outside my network in a secure manner. Since the computer runs all the time I was thinking I could use it instead of a raspberry pi

9. I heard somewhere that you should never port forward because bots and hackers sniff out open ports as a window into your network. Does this security concern apply to running a VPN server?

16. Excellent tutorial. I assume that you could do something similar with an old laptop or PC, if you don't own a Raspberry Pi.

17. instead of using the thumb drive or email to transfer the file, why not SSH into the PI to create the profile, then use SCP to transfer the file to the client you need it on?

18. Does this allow Netflix and other streaming services to work? The thing about having a Private VPN service is that I can turn it on and off at my PC without bothering the rest of the house and what my family might be doing. If I turn it on to protect my privacy but then I hear yelling coming from the other room because the show they were watching is suddenly cut off, what good is this?

28. I am using noip as you had done. But it says my host name will expire in 30 days. That and I am having an issue using openvpn with Kodi on a pi device by using noip. I was wondering if there is a way of changing the host name after I have already finished the whole setup? Thank you!
