  1. Trump still doesn't understand what a trade deficit is.
Trump still thinks that tariffs collected from Chinese goods coming into the US are paid by China.
Stop diverting your blame onto China, it is your orange gorilla in the WH misleading your people and still not addressing the real issues appropriately.

  2. You are all duped. China is going to buy agriculture products from Russia and Europe. Also, the next USA recession in 2020 will not be bailed out by China like in 2008. You are really DUPED! You should thank China on your knees, without her bailout of your debts and financial crash in 2008, you would be standing in the food support line as you will in 2020.

  3. Chinese media CGTN is keeping complete silence on US – China phase 1 trade talk. Silence means there is No agreement from China on trade deal.

  4. IF INDEED THERE REALLY REALLY IS A DEAL – IN ORDER FOR CHINA TO AGREE TO A DEAL, IT WOULD BE A NOTHING DEAL WHERE THE US CAVES IN TO ALL OF CHINA'S DEMANDS. IT IS BASICALLY A COURTESY SAVING FACE NOTHING DEAL FOR TRUMP. IF THE MARKETS KNOW WHAT'S REALLY IN THE DEAL, THE MARKETS SHOULD DROP LIKE A STONE.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY- CHINA IS NOW WAY AHEAD OF THE GAME, THEY ARE NOW THE LEADERS OF R&D IN 5G, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, ELECTRIC VEHICLES, SOLAR TECHNOLOGY, ETC . THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ISSUE IS ALREADY BY NOW A NON-ISSUE. THEY ARE NOW LEADING THE TECHNOLOGY, THE US IS TRAILING. THEY ARE MORE AFRAID THAT THE US WOULD STEAL THEIR TECHNOLOGY, SINCE THE US COMPANIES HAVE SPEND THEIR BORROWED MONEY NOT ON R&D, BUT ON STOCK BUYBACKS.

  5. Any deal with China that doesn't include restitution for stolen intellectual property, and fails to address China's violations of the Geneva Accords in the international shipping lanes and sovereign territories they have invaded… would be a loss. Trump is inept to the task at hand, and only wants the appearance of a "win", so his worshippers will blindly vote in the upcoming election; all the while getting bent over by Winnie the Pooh.
    ??? HERE'S WHY:

  6. All sides need to start by dealing with the real world. A central feature of that world is that China has become the world's second largest economy and the world's leading trading nation. Another major feature of that world is that China is not a major national security threat to any other nation. The United States has an history of making wars. China does not. China's stated ambition is to do business with the rest of the world. China is building a world order centered around business. The question is how the United States is going to participate in that world order. The big American problem is prioritizing foreign policy over business. That kind of agenda is a path to American failure. The rest of the world is interested in their economic well being. Other nations are not going to sacrifice their economic well being in payment for American protection against imaginary enemies. The nations most vulnerable to any Chinese military threat are joining with China in the world's largest free trade block. China's role as the world's leading manufacturer is likely to grow. Blocking American exports to China for national security threats will lock American manufacturers out of dominant global supply chains. American manufacturing has been in decline for at least forty years. No doubt the choice to outsource American manufacturing to China over the last two decades contributed to the process. But, that choice was made by American business because it was profitable to them. That process and China's establishment of a foundation for its manufacturing economy is in the past. The question for the United States is whether it cares about being competitive globally in manufacturing or not. Tariffs that cause manufacturing to move from China to Vietnam will not fix the problem. The deeper problem is the question of American manufacturing competitiveness as manufacturing becomes more automated and the wages of workers becomes less of an issue. The American failure to have any company that can compete with Huawei was not caused by the loss of manufacturing jobs to China. The attack on Huawei in an effort to destroy its success will not fix the problem. Locking American manufacturers out of sales to Huawei will just make it worse. The whole American political spectrum appears filled with hate of the Chinese and without any effective plan for how the United States could do better competing with their economic success.

  7. China has been fighting a trade war for 15 years. The US has finally woken up and is now fighting back. The West has realized the true ambitions and goals of China, and all of these trade deals are striking at the center of China's economy. Here is some free advice…..if you have money in China, get it out!!! The rich/elite Chinese have already started to do so.

  8. Wake up armchair experts. It's a 10 year trade war, before the 4th industrial revolution well and truly takes hold.
