   I have a question here, I have bought two games already (Mafia 2 & Distraint: Deluxe edition) and I want to refund one of them so I can buy the game that I really want. Will steam caught me because I used VPN and changed my country to Argentina to buy games in cheap prices, I am scared of the ban if they caught me (by the logs they have). They'll probably do a small search about me in their data before accepting my refund for the game. So you think it worth the risk? I want a quick answer please!

12. FOR ANYONE WHO IS HAVING TROUBLE, make sure you log out of steam on your phone and disable steam guard. Then restart your PC and turn on the VPN and log into the client, you should be able to change it after that. ALSO, you will have to wait 2 weeks to change your country back. So do this at your own discretion

16. I used NordVPN to transfer my IP to the Argentina, the website you showed says my ip is indeed Argentinian,before i logged in on the steam website it also showed me argentinian prices,but after i logged in,it always show me i logged in from canada,both in website and client.

20. It worked!!! 06.11.2019 Follow the steps when you change country and it says to log in to steam client, THE MOST IMPORATANT STEP IS TO LOG OUT FROM YOUR PHONE VIA STEAM APP, then you change it and refresh and BOOM there you go 😀
