  9. Good information… but, everytime I've tried one… well the speed is nonexistant… paint dries faster than the access speed of a site when you use one of these… so, safe? Yes! What's the point of having high-speed internet if it gets reduced to dial-up (remember 48K connections?)… this is definately a poor trade-off!

  18. Using vpn provider is stupid. I get virtual private server and the setup OpenVPN on it and enjoy gigabit speed and im sure there are no logs and no users using same IP as me

  23. Nord VPN, PIA (Private Internet Access), and Express VPN are ones most often heard of when it comes to quality, security, and usability.

    Be very careful to stay away from free VPN services, as they almost always store your logs, sell your information to third-parties, or won't encrypt any data and instead utilize proxy networks, leaving your just as unsafe and exposed as before. If you're serious about your privacy and security, stay away from free offerings.

    For transparency, I'm a happy user of Nord VPN. Never once had an issue, and I use it across my phone and two Chromebooks without any hassle. Do your homework before getting any of these though, a different one might be right for you.

  24. duh…Just know that certain online site like your bank knows you're using a VPN or see it as suspicious spam due to heavy traffic and will block you. Which mean you have to turn the VPN off in order to access your bank account online.
