  5. I play RDO on three platforms; PS4, PC and Stadia. Or rather, I used to play on the three mentioned platforms. I have now completely dropped both PS4 and PC, because RDO is so much better on Stadia.

    Stadia might not be superior in/for other games, in fact I know it isn't, and it's certainly not a superior platform given its many limitations right now, but for RDO specifically it is just leaps and bounds ahead of the other platforms. It's not even close.

  10. i have a question maybe u can answer ..in story mode some cabin's have a cupboard above the sink with something in it …when u use dead eye it blink's … but how do u access it..seem's all it will focus on is the lower cabinet ????

  16. Playing on PS4 and the Moonshine shack had now stopped spawning, as well as the camp, so had nothing yesterday! Logged official bug report through R* feedback section online – but no confidence in response

  18. 28 is not more people than one will ever see elsewhere, I have twice found myself in a session with 29 people on PS4. Obviously both times nothing worked and I switched immediately (nothing working being the reason for checking in the first place. "Oh sh*t that's why nothing works!").

  21. Thanks for doing this 🙂 I've been enjoying Stadia and Red Dead since release.

    Every data center isn't on the same place though. They have server farms all over to optimize for different countries. We can all imagine that the connection between Googles servers are way better than what lies between you and me however.

  25. I've been wondering what people were complaining about with a lack of animals because I run around hunting animals everywhere. After watching this and hearing more about RDR2's peer to peer setup, I wonder if my experience is due to my 8 core 16 thread processor. How is everyone else's experience when using high core/thread count cpu's?

  27. does rockstar not use connected dedicated servers? the game isnt hosted on a single players console thats in the game correct? and stadia not having to deal with different peoles internet and such isnt correct, everyone still is on varying states of infastructure, your are still gonna have connection issues no matter what you play on, the xbox is just processing the graphics and signals that the server is giving it for game information so im not sure where you are getting your information

  29. I hope everyone streams their games on stadia. I』ve Never seen or played a 60 FPS game before & after seeing this I』m impressed. The clarity out performs YouTube』s compression. No pixelation or clipping

  30. In these comments: A bunch of idiots who haven't tried out Stadia themselves and are bitching about it. It's a pretty slick concept and gives you some awesome flexibility in how you play, as long as your connection is good.

  31. You keep saying this is dedicated server and it's not… it's P2P clients all running in the same server farm. Not to mention there are very few people actually playing on Stadia let alone RDR2 on Stadia.

  33. Stadia will probably work… for now. Until it gets choppy. Streaming data is never 100% smooth either. How many of you have had Wi-Fi issues? Those same issues will appear on stadia also once more people use it. I wont be trying it for a few years.

  39. This is fascinating. I wonder how high they could get the player cap to go on Stadia since it's pretty much a LAN…

    By the way, I did a bit of research and it looks like currently, 65% of Stadia games run at 4K (of which 58% are 4K60, and 42% are 30fps). And it looks like when you force 1080p, the games running at 30fps get bumped up to 60fps… So not perfect, but not too bad either!
    And it looks like 4K60 streams are supposed to come to Chrome in the next 3 months… So things might be getting pretty interesting at some point.
