1. Would you still buy a PS5 made in China ? ?

   A decent group of you seem to have this twisted. The community was asking this question so I answered it. No one confirmed a delay or an issue ongoing. It』s a video diving into what we know about the virus, the production of the PS4 right now ( potentially the PS5 ) and how those two could collide.

15. One easy step to add to manufacture – once boxed – blast it with gamma radiation. Lower power won't damage the console – but it'll wipe out anything 'alive' inside. It's been used in the food industry for decades. Those unrefrigerated ready-meals in the paper boxes? Gamma-blasted. Also helps improve fruits and produce safety on imports from other countries.

    I'd blast anything coming out of China with a nice spray of RADS until this thing blows over – if it ever does (they're saying it'll probably be seasonal now – woof).

31. The Coronavirus has the same symptoms as the flu and hasn't claimed nearly as many lives in the months since it was discovered. Everything is made in China anyway, so everybody chill. Buy your PS5 day1… don't miss out ?

45. I would still purchase a PS5. I think the CDC has not done a job explaining that coronavirus is a catch-all type of name. Many viruses that infect nose, sinus, etc are actually known as coronavirus. Just like the influenza, it is possible that the strain of coronavirus causing the problem might just be the type that does not have any available antidote. Go look on the back of a Lysol bottle from last year. The Coronavirus is listed as something that can be killed by the product.

48. Virus could be dead by a maximum of 20 hours when out of a suitable host. So even if the units are contaminated (which is very unlikely to happen because they use special suits and well clean rooms to assemble components without any dust and dirt coming to it), it will be long dead by they get wrapped. And even if someone founds something, it will be hold in storage for long enough them to die. So dont worry about this virus and pray for those who are suffering now of this.
