I prefere to buy a decent computer and to actually own the games I want and to play them offline (for singleplayers) whenever I want, no matter the internet connection, not for them to be owned by a corporation that borrows them. And you know, some developers deserve my money so why give it to a corporation when I can give it directly to the game creators and have the game indefinately?
