The Academy would do itself a massive favour by expanding the acting/director category to a possible seven. Not as a requirement but as an option, similar to best picture, that would definitely solve some of the controversy in my opinion. In terms of the actual nominations Greta Gerwig was massively snubbed for me, if I was voting I might have even given her the win. I』ve yet to see Judy but from what I have seen Saoirse Ronan should take that. As you can tell I』ve got a lot of love for Little Women haha. Overall I would have liked to see a wider range of films nominated across all the categories, but i ain』t gonna complain too much because I just love the buzz around Oscar season.

Sorry Chris, I gave up after the 5 minute mark. It's not you, because I really enjoy your videos. It's my complete lack of caring about Hollywood patting it self on the back. To be honest, living in a fly over state I really don't know many people who do care about the awards shows. I love going to the movies, one of my best friends owns a drive-in theater and I'm there a lot during the summer. That being said, I consider actors just people who shouldn't need all the extra butt kissing they get. There it is my opinion which is worth nothing to anyone but me. I do look forward to your next music reaction.
