Google Duplex:A.I。助理致電當地企業進行預約

在Google I / 0上的精彩演示中,Google助手實際上可以呼叫沙龍或餐廳來為您預約。即使比薩店沒有在線預訂系統,您也不必打自己的電話。 。

  1. Wait, she asked Google Assistant to book an appointment BETWEEN 10 and 12, then the assistant asks for a reservation at 12pm? What if the salon accepted? That would be outside the time she wanted.

  2. A lot of people saying that millions will lose their jobs, of course that will happen, but new jobs will appear, when the industrialization began, a lot of people who sold horses and wood carts lose their jobs too but new jobs were born.

  3. Hey what happen if your phone talk to you without any internet connection ..and can learn any hing from your phone like playing games and more with the help of nural network

  4. Funny thing is in the second call the assistant didn't even need to get her opinion on wait times because Google Maps already knows how busy this venue is at all times. Likely more accurate than her opinion or memory.

  5. And so then, people won』t interact with each other; people that already have anxiety will be even more anxious when they eventually are forced to speak with an actual human out on the streets.

This is the beginning of the end, and it』s so, so sad

  6. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END…and the worst part is the crowd is actually cheering instead of screaming in terror…seriously, all of the humans are being replaced…WHOOOO FUCKING HOOOOO!!

  7. The ai has the exact same accent and nuances that I do.

This is the most terrifying thing i』ve ever seen. Speaking of which: in yang』s book he mentioned all the personal assistants he met that were now in a homeless shelter.

  8. Microsoft tech guy at around 11:55 pm on a Sunday:

"Hey guys, we finally have got that ONE CALL THAT WORKED THROUGH!
Let's use that recording for the presentation! We can FINALLY go home to get some sleep!
Dangit what a long insane friday that was! 60 hours in a row ! Well, see you in 8 hours guys!"

(rest of the entire IT team is already quite comatose on the office floor)

Meanwhile, you have tens of thousands of very annoyed restaurant and hair salons and whatever other service employees, that are frustrated
at having had completely stupid converrasations with "calling for a client" calls that failed for whatever reason.

I can tell you that when I call my hair salon, the person at the other end isn't in a silent working environment, talking very precisely and very clearly and slowly,
with zero accent. Those are "ideal-found-in-laboratory-only-conditions" situations, not "real-life-typical" situations !
