28. Those hoakie gimmicks are what is missing from the races today. I could watch Humpie stories every night. These stories make the grass roots connection. Keep the stories like these coming.

When people ask how crazy the cold war was I usually talk about Chrystler's rocket/missile division making the dayona/superbird, and Dodge being scared about testing the Daytona over fears that Ford would have spy planes watching to see how fast the car would go. Now I can add a military drill being executed live at a nascar race in the in-field.

39. I actually got to see Robosaurus at Charlotte one year. There were also pre-race races with Bandaleros and other cars using the little I think it wa a 1/4 mile oval in front of pit road.
