  17. Oh how that movie motivated me to be a con-artist! Kidding aside, The movie deserves a huge applause!!! The plot is very interesting and entertaining….the twists and turns it made through was nerve wracking….I mean while watching the movie a lot of realizations came….After watching the movie you will surely say "I'll watch it again"…I RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

    1. 국제시장 (Gukje Market) – a story of a man who had been going through the rapid social, economical, cultural changes from the middle of 20c of korea. When you watch this movie, you will get how the most of elders in korea have been living their each life with so many hardship.

    2. 태극기 휘날리며 (Taegukgi : Brotherhood of War) -After I have wached this movie, I felt that this movie is similar to Saving Private Ryon. But the background is about the Korean war (1950~1953).

    3. 변호인 (the Attorney) – the attorney, who is the main character of this movie is based to president No Moo Hyun in korea who had governed from 2003 to 2007. President No Moo Hyun have fought against to dictatorship when he was a lawyer, then after the dictatorship got replaced to democratic age, He has become one of the mostly loved politician.

    4. 서편제 (Seopyonje) – "Seo" means westside, "Pyonje" means a clique or style of sings (or singers) among Pansori, which is the representative traditional song of korea. When you watch this movie, You may feel the spirit of art in old age korea.

  28. Can we stop assuming that foreign movies are low quality now. I think that is the reason why english speaking countries refuse to watch foreign films. If people in other countries can manage to read subtitles why can't the english.

    Now, producer PL Thenappan has claimed that the Korean film's plot has been plagiarised from the Tamil romantic comedy Minsara Kanna (1990), starring Vijay in the lead. Thenappan also said that he will seek compensation from the makers of Parasite.

  39. I already saw this movie before it even blow up to oscars and international. There are many good korean movies tho so it is a proud moment.
