7. Hello Kim! thanks! my mint keeps dying not sure why? it is the second time I bought a small mint plant and it died off… what could I be doing wrong, with water or sunlight? thank you

19. My cuttings grow lots of roots but after they are planted in soil, they die. On they are in my balcony but it's shaded..

20. My basil bolted, so I was actually planning on pulling it out today. Now I can take cuttings and start new plants?! That's great!

23. I watched Kevin from Epic Gardening do this a while ago. I didn't grow basil this year; but, may try it in the future. I have tried rooting tomato suckers using this method and even with changing the water out every other day or so, they just turned to mush. Could it be the water? Maybe I should try again next year with distilled water or some other type of water.

28. Oh doggone it! I just yanked my basil plant out because it was looking sad. If I had known a bbn out this I could have tried to start a new one. 🙁

29. I gave our mint plant a huge haircut and thought it wouldnt come back so i put some cuttings in a cup……? it no only came back…the cuttings a huge now and the plant is bigger than ever…..MINT FOR YEARS!!! Lol thank you kim!!!

30. Thanks for reminding me, I need to do this before frost takes out my basil patch in the garden! I'll also "borrow" some mint from my sister!

    I harvest one squash on Monday and the next day my plant started drooping is she done or can I ad some thing to bring it back I did add some compost. I was wondering should I spray some milk on the leaves. My husband notice red ants on the stem. Is this a problem.

33. I just did this last week…by accident! I took a long stem of my outdoor basil plant and stuck it in a mason jar of water because I was going to cook with it. I left what I didn't use in the water and before I knew it, there were roots forming. I didn't even know basil would do that. Super Excited about it!

38. since my herbs are being prepped to be over wintered, im going to start a new flat of all types of herbs, and make a mini herb garden indoors!
