  2. I AM TRULY THANKFULL FOR THIS MAN WHO ISNT AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR WHAT HE BELIEVES IN. I ALWAYS KNEW HE WAS POSSIONATE ABOUT ANIMAL RIGHTS, AND THIS SPEECH WAS SO HEART FELT. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE HIM IN THIS WORLD TO BE A VOICE FOR ANIMALS. IN REALITY WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE THE LIVES OF ANIMALS FOR CONSUMTION OR ANY OTHER REASON, WE ARE NOT SUPERIOR. AND TO THINK THAT WE ARE IS IS JUST PURE IGNORANCE… THERE IS ALWAYS A CHOICE….

  5. He must have been quite dismayed to get an Oscar for THAT movie, what a joke. But he used the moment to speak up and stand up, including for animals. So I'm glad he got it and was able to speak about the important things. Love you Joaquin.

  6. "The Kind of Comedy" for yuppies and dolts.
    This movie was not inspired by Scorsese but it is a cheap, digital knock off of the style he worked so hard to build.
    The only justice is Phoenix's acting. He is such a good performer that he stole us away from this horrid mechanical disaster that is "The Joker".
    I feel like a fresh take like something from the Safdie Brothers would have been nice. I just hope they don't get in to ad heavy shit after featuring Adam Sandler and The Weeknd in their last film.
    Sandler is a crook though and so is The Weeknd (my brother produced house of balloons). I know what money does to people. Hopefully they stay on track.

  12. instead of sacrifice how about you donate your cars. or auction your lavish livings and donate it to the whatever found you want. crocodile tears dont mean anything, you have always been a righteous bunch of clowns only now your product is way above avaerage its embarrassing for you, joaquin pheonix was quite average in my opinion i know he didnt write the script but the role he chose to play was below par no sav, kook no swagger as the yanks say no gusto no nothing, nobody wants to be the joker from this movie. dark knight everybody wants to be the joker

  44. What absurd idiocy. People fight because resources are limited. If we had more cows and more milk, we wouldn't fight. He criticizes egocentrism, then proposes we make the world poorer and hungrier because of his entitled attitude where he has a fridge full of whatever he wants. These people are imbeciles. Vegetarian alternatives in turn kill billions more of insects. Are the insects less worthy of life than the cow? What other species has moral qualms about eating us if they had to? It's precisely narcissistic world view that creates this parasite. How dare you.
