A very unexpected year for movie awards… and even today… a week later, I』m not sure how I feel. I will say that I am extremely happy that Klaus got some recognition, and even happier that Knives Out and Jojo Rabbit ended up in screenplay categories. But there were also some MAJOR snubs:
Avengers: Endgame for literally everything besides visuals effect?
No Taron Egerton for Best Actor? No Adam Sandler either?
Where』s Lupita Nyong』o????
Todd Phillips got a director nom but Taika Waititi didn』t!?!?
A24 produced so many great movies….. where are they?
1917 got a lot of recognition… but not film editing? Hmmmm
