I see a lot of people getting this wrong. You can use ANY external SSDs or HDs on the new xbox. In order to utilize the power of the xbox you have to get their branded versions.
you know sam, even tho you're always laggy, you're starting to make a lot more sense.
Can someone tell me what the music is in the outro

Did you know there is an actual disease known as Peyronie』s disease?
Laughs in PC gamer…
it will all come down to games and game exclusives if it didnt xbox one x would have won outright but ps had the games. thats coming from a xbox buyer last gen
Correction, you can't put any M.2 drves in a PS5, Sony are testing a few and will let customers know which ones to get.
Clearly the cost of those drives will rise due to demand.
You've missed something big here, SSD, PSVR et al. make it more likely that developers will be able to do things on PS5 that they can't do effectively on XBox Series X, ergo, they're widening the exclusive gap.
Laymen: PS5 has a much more powerful SSD (on paper) omg! Reality: loads in 1 second instead of 2 on the X. Meanwhile the graphics grunt in XSX is 20% faster at least and Laymen be like 「meh」. Disappointing take guys.
Been afew days now. Where have they been
Well no matter how powerful next gen is fallout 76 will still run like shit
Yay more power! Now instead of giving us a better experience devs and producers can just release unoptimized trash and just say 'meh we can get 30fps, that's good enough'
If the difference is not too big, hardware specs don't really matter that much.
If your console is 15% more powerful no developer will go out of their way to push for those extra 15% anyway.
"Daata"
yeah, about that super fast SSD… it's only 875GBs…. so yeah, that's going to hold like 6-7 next-gen games.
Dude, it was not the main event. Playstation made it clear that Cerny was going to do a deep dive into the Playstation 5's internal hardware architecture. The presentation was supposed to take place in GDC but then due to Coronavirus, Sony pulled out. IT WAS MADE CLEAR. It was not to showcase games or what the console looked like. Seriously, what in the world were you guys expecting??
"…waiting 3 mins for Anthem to load…"
Oof.
Xbox is looking pretty strong
There was some really fascinating tech info from the presentation, but I definitely think there should have been a bit more. Some gameplay would have been great, but at the very least they should have revealed the actual box.
I guarantee the ps5's amazeballs 5GBPS ssd or any other modern high end NVME SSD are going to run exactly the same once you get into real world useage on the system, and not just synthetic benchmarks
