This was a good movie. I didn』t know how it was gonna play out. I liked how they kept with the spirit of the original with the multiple storylines.

It is not a bad film but certainly cannot match the original Japanese franchise.
I HAAAAAATE ITTTTTT, the Japanese one was so much better this is just dumb no storyline like the original piece just took the idea of grudge and put it on America version and American cast with no charm ending was expected cause we all know how JU ON ends but oh my god the disappointment after watching this and expecting it to be good as the Japanese one seriously don't watch this and go watch the Japanese one

The Grudge franchise has moved further and further away from horror suspense, and focused more and more on cheap jump scares, most likely to please new younger generations. This is without a doubt the worst Grudge movie yet. Btw, Kayako has ONE screen appearance in this film.
This would have been good if they stuck a little more to the grudge lore and keep Kayako in the spotlight or atleast give reason as to why the onryos are doing her death rattle but none of her crawling jerky movements…. idk the onryos seem so lackluster and make it feel like some alternate universe. Atleast in the grudge two if someone became an onryo they looked and had the same qualities as the onryo that made/controls them.
Another strong independent cu*t movie
