I wanted to share your website from my mobile phone but I couldn't. Website like this MUST have this future. Thanks for showing SSD speed on this video.
Great one, lassie. You got the right idea!
can you tell me the exact cable you're using to transfer the data? I see that one end is a usb but I don't see the conector to the ssd… thank you!
What if my MacBook Pro has a Core 2 Duo?
I have a 120 GB Samsung SSD in my HP Pavilion laptop. It boots Windows under ten seconds! faster that that MacBook!
Prior to converting to SSD, you may want to learn more about their limited number of "write" instances. They will "brick" sooner, while the HDs just keep chugging-along.
??
The biggest usability problem with non-retina Mac computers is being non-retina.
Thanks for your work iFixit! Apple makes good products but unfortunately too many are finding their way to landfills and needless replacement. They need a change in attitude toward 3rd party repair.
With a 1000 dollar PC I'm already watching a video on Youtube after 12 seconds from boot…
God my Mac is slow…………
good
I have upgraded two laptops with SSD hard drives, best decision.
Another great video explained by the Chelsi, she is so perfect☺
The profit margins you are taking with these kits are too high. The crucial 250gb can be bought online for $70, not $135. Everyone has a Phillips head for the job and a usb to sata adapter is only $9. How about you give recommendations about which ssds to buy and how to install them, instead of trying to sell ssds.
I think it is better to start with a clean and empty disk, especially if you have done multiple upgrades.
135$ for a 250GB SSD + drive enclosure and couple of screws with screwdrivers? You overpriced this kit iFixIt
Wow.
Thanks for thes informational video I love your channel
