I have a better way.. …. for that u need to know multiplication and tables up to 13 ……ex.for 128 root . 11*11= 121 and 12*12=144 so128 root should be between them now the difference between 121 and128 is less than that between 144 and 121 so the decimal points should be more near to or less than 0 .5 …..and since decimaldoes not have that big effect in calculation so I assume it to 0.3 so √128 is 11.3 …..I did not use any calculators thought

  3. ?????…..and what to do if the number is not even ???… .no way was it helpful…..what do u think we are fools????….in the end there is no short cuts it completely depends on one practice in mathematics
