以薩莉·魯尼最暢銷的小說為基礎，《正常人》是一部精美的現代愛情小說，講述了一個人如何意外地改變另一個人的生活以及親密關係可能多麼複雜。瑪麗安和康奈爾（Marianne）和康奈爾（Connell）經歷了幾年的學習，他們倆從學校開始並一直到大學繼續進行一次又一次的/一次又一次的戀情，並在探索自己的不同版本時測試了他們之間的關係。

《正常人》由Element Pictures製作，將在美國的Hulu和英國的BBC Three上發售。

  1. This trailer brought up so much nostalgia and conflicted feelings by having me reminisce over the love me and one of my child hood friends shared. We started experimenting in high school secretly. There were others of course but we always found our way back to each other. I never cheated on anyone but when a girl got jealous and said it was between her and Shannon (my childhood friend), I always chose Shannon. Years go by and more of the same. She even calls off an engagement to some rich guy for me. For reasons that are too long for a YouTube comment I let her down and we』re no longer romantic. We』re not healthy for each other.

    I haven』t seen her in person for almost two years, but we still talk in secret every day. Still a part of my life just a different role. It』s just odd for being certain from a young age you were going to marry someone, and even get engaged, only to be in your late 20s and realizing it』s not gonna happen

  3. Read the book over the winter. Wasn』t paying attention but recognized it in an ad before a video. Excited to see what they』ve made!

  12. anyone kinda surprised by the lack of humour in the trailer? i thought the book was pretty funny in an introspective way, this makes it seem so serious

  27. I dont understand, why do people keep saying that this novel was a masterpiece?! I've never seen so many clichés in the same novel!! And now they are even doing a movie about it… Another teen movie…
