1. I also faced the same prob. For weeks!! Speed boosted from 140 kbps to 95mbps.
   The foll. Steps helped me to solve it.
   1.open network and sharing center
   2.click your wifi connection
   3.click properties
   4.Then click on configure
   5.Go to advanced
   6.Change the 802.11nbandwidth frequency from 20MHz to 20/40MHz Auto .

   Hope this would help others too!!

SOLVED>>> Ok, after spending 2 full days trying to figure out WHY my Gaming PC was only performing at 1/3 of my Internet Bandwidth (200Mbps out of 600Mbps), I managed to come across a 3 year old thread where a writer mentioned using 3rd Party software that solved his issue. I tried it and it WORKED and amazingly enough, it's a program that's been around forever and I used it 10 or more years ago. Here is the link to it. It it called TCP Optimizer and it essentially automates all the manual Windows adjustments needed to speed up your connection. @t

4. I get 220 mbps on my ps4 but 3 mbps on my laptop, but a month ago my laptop had like 200 mbps too, can someone please help it』s so annoying

6. I tried so many ways to fix my wifi problem but none of them worked until one day I disconnected my bluetooth speakers and the wifi speed returned to normal. I googled this and found out bluetooth can really messed up your wifi connection.

13. God damn you Microsoft, my internet worked perfectly fine on windows 7. Now since I "had" to move to windows 10 my internet is so damn slow that I can't even watch a youtube video, thank you very much for nothing Microsoft, I wish there would be some other good alternatives than windows.

14. Guess what! My Wi-Fi hotspot is so slow with Windows 10 that I can't even download a driver. Cannot update Windows. So this solution is useless

16. I fixed this! This tutorial didn't work for me.
    Here is what I did:
    I uninstalled the driver of my wireless device.
    I downloaded the new driver directly from Intel.
    Success!

17. my wifi is on the 1st floor while my pc is on the 2nd floor,and its extremely slow, but when i use my phone on the 2nd floor its fast asf. can someone tell me how to fix this

20. I changed my "Roaming Aggressiveness" to highest and it also works, no option for the bandwith though.

25. my internet speed is 25 mbps but only in my pc it runs upto 8 mbps and other devices it runs 25 mbps .it only happens in my home internet only but in other inter it works fine plz somebody help me if you have solution.
