Why not bring back Bionicle? Or Hero Factory? Those are Lego's own inventions which are cheaper and cooler with a lore already behind rather than Star Wars and other licenses which are expensive.

This always reminds me that Nintendo made their own version of lego-style plastic toy bricks back when they were primarily a toy company. The bricks appear in Super Mario Land 2. Pretty interesting to see an official collaboration many years later.
