27. It's a pretty mediocre film. If you are genuinely interested in good Indian cinema, I recommend start with some of these Hindi movies – Andhadhun (thriller), 3 idiots (comedy drama), Ugly (thriller drama), Kapoor & Sons (family drama), Taare Zameen Par (coming of age story of a child with a learning disability), Dangal (Sports Drama), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (road-trip movie), etc. Maybe you can start off with checking out trailers of these films.

    The movies I've selected are pretty awesome while being more palatable to a Western Audience who are initiating into Indian cinema. Remember, these are Bollywood or Hindi-language movies, but because India is incredibly diverse and large, we have at least 8 or 9 another fairly large movie industries in all different languages of different Indian states.
