  4. Hey qbking77 NEED HELP "kernel-GB-3a.tar.md5" this is what i put in to the pda in odin. it failed. phone was stuck i unplugged it. now it wont turn on please help. its giving me an icon of phone…caution sign…computer.

  11. the root works perfecty excapect i cant install a rom or backup my current rom…it always starts and then says it can verfiy…what do u recommend i do???

  15. Everything has been running fine until i installed whatsapp on my epic.I believe the shortcut caused problems now i'm having force close issues with Twlauncher is there a fix or a way to delete the shortcut from recovery mode?

  16. My phone will only turn on a blue light i think I used the wrong recovery and now my phone wont do anything but show the blue light. Please help. 🙁

  19. that means you bricked your device. if you want to unbrick, download One Click Unbrick and unbrick your phone or download a stock FC09 rom and install that via recovery

  24. I followed these directions and then installed samurai's newest BML EI22 kernel (SAMURAI.DAITO.BML.EI22.03.20.16.42), but I keep losing root! Any suggestions?

  28. i am running windows on my mac with vmware fusion and when the device is on my computer reconizes it and sends it over to the windows side. when in download mode it wont reconize the device?!

  30. so i followed your dorections for stock el30 build and rooted apps are getting access. could it be that busybox is not installing correctly?

  33. Dude, you rock. I tried to root my EL30 Epic 4G and it didn't work but then I tried again following your video and it worked perfectly! Then I followed your video for installing ICE CREAM SANDWICH and that worked too! And now my phone is like a whole new phone! It was unusable with EL30 (so bad that I stopped using it months ago and was exclusively using my AT&T iPhone 4S from work) but now it runs just fine with ICE. Thanks again!

  35. You probably have a bad cable or download. Get a good Blackberry cable or similiar and google How to restore a semi-bricked Epic and follow the first post exactly to restore your phone. Unfortunately you will lose data. Hopefully you have a backup.
