  1. Yes, you will need the Magic Mouse 2 / Magic Trackpad 2 to use gestures like I』m demonstrating in this video. I highly recommend using the Magic Trackpad 2.

  3. Just got my trackpad—have to say, silver is not silver except for the band, it is white much like the Apple CC. I also know now why I never cared for the trackpad on my Macbook Pro—I would have to move my right arm to center of device to use it whereas a freestanding trackpad is to right of device (righthanded) and is much more comfortable to use. Very glad I bought it—scrolling is lovely, the rest of gestures will soon become second nature.

  6. Hi! When I connect my logitech BT keaboard and Microsoft BT mouse to my iPad Air 2 everything works, when I connect my Galaxy Buds the mouse starts to bug hard. Is this just too many bluetooth devices? When I connect my other BT headphones (older, with BT 4.1 I believe), the mouse runs no problem. Can anyone tell me, if this is just the Galaxy Buds issue? Does your ipad work with all 3 BT devices connected? Thanks!

  12. 19 minutes waste of my lifetime! (the video actually runs for 25 minutes but i was not willing to watch it till the end!)

    Feels like someone talks to me like in the kindergarden! "Yes – simply tip with your finger on it! It is that simple! Just do it again! Yes! Simply tip it with one finger! it is that easy!"

    In a nutshell:
    Basically you can do exactly the SAME gestures in the trackpad now that you can do on the ipad itself before! DONE!

  16. I know you probably won』t read this two weeks after the video dropped… but this video spends a lot of time splitting focus between the mouse and the trackpad. It would have been much better (and shorter) in my opinion if you had done separate videos for each. Thanks for taking the time to create the tutorial though.

    I have Magic Trackpad 2. When i take the cursor to the bottom of the screen for the dock to appear, it doesn』t appear?

  19. you are able to change right button and left button commands, accessability, pointer control, assistant touch settings, mouse or track pad, change right button and left button. Example I change my right button to single tap and my left button to dock.

  20. Have you been able scroll youtube videos using the magic mouse 2 on ipad pro? Left click or right click doesn』t seem to work when scrolling on a video. Thanks.

  24. I have a razer deathadder chroma (wired) and when i try to connect it it works for a few seconds and then just stops working
    I don't know why but I think it may just be treating the mouse as a light or something which needs charging as the lights work but i can't use the mouse any ideas?

  25. When using the Magic Trackpad 2, have you figured out how to get Hot Corners to work without switching over to the AssistiveTouch Pointer? I prefer the pointer animations, so I don』t want to use the AssistiveTouch pointer because that prevents pointer animations. Unfortunately it seems that Hot Corners don』t work unless you use the AssistiveTouch pointer. I really hope someone can tell me I』m wrong.

  27. I also find the pointer animations a bit jarring, and would rather see the cursor. Still looks good though, I just still haven』t gotten used to it.

  28. Does anyone know if you can use 2 fingers to move between pages on the home screen with the Trackpad? I am using a Logitech mouse right now and I can』t get to the second page on my home screen with the mouse. I don』t want to activate assistive touch.

  33. Really useful. I』m testing some of these tips w/ my little Samsung Bluetooth mouse, but definitely plan to get a trackpad soon for all the functionality.
