I want to jailbreak my iphone 4s running in ios6.1.3 just because of automatic software update when I connected to wifi it will start continuously on update ios 8.4.1 so i am just thinking that after jail breaking my iphone 4s i can disable software update. Is ot right or wrong?

i have downgraded my 4s to 6.1.3. i want to install whatsapp which is not supported by this firmware. how do i do that i tried to jailbreak as u suggested i'm getting "that IPSW is not supported by this version of redsnow"
i tried this on a galaxy s8 and when i open it says : you got 5secs to run , the kernel will exploid on 5 -4 -3 -2–1 and boom …Lucky i have a spare nokia 3310

yo its 2017 now, but i downloaded itunes 10, ipsw 6.0.1 and im trying to jailbreak a ipod touch 4g ios 6.1.3. i run redsn0w, but it just gets stuck on uploading first stage. any help?
Please say everyone here is just here for nostalgia and orb because they're on an old enough device to run this…
