8. there is a problem with google home speaker wifi implementation or system logic. Sometimes when confused by your speech or a response from the internet, the assistant can blame the wifi/modem connection to the internet. Speaker can sometimes hang or disrupt other devices on your home net as a result. Support staff dont want to hear this is a problem, blaming distance to the router or other ficticious connection issues. Classic fingerpointing response from a support group – dont want to hear that everything else works reliably on the net for years. Old support scrappings from the web indicate that from day one there were issues with platform logic. Ideally they want it 10 ft away from router if possible, 20ft max – this for product that is supposedly desirable to have in multiple locations around the house. In all other respects the product is fantastic- too bad they cannot get a resilient implementation of their internet connection.
