  1. I regret taking a NordVPN 3 year subscription.

    At first it was relatively good on paper and practicality in terms of pricing. Then it just went to shit. They had a data breach and never bothered to send out an email about it assuring their users, but sure as hell can send out spams asking me to refer to friends and stuff.

    Then there's the asymmetrical speed issue. Either you'll get a high download and low upload, or vice versa, as is evident in your video. Now they are spamming me with Nordlynx emails, I looked it up on Youtube and found this video, true enough it's all bark no bite.

    Furthermore, 6 months ago I complained to nord about amazon prime video India detecting VPN. They said they are working on a fix, last week asked the same and apparently they are working on a fix but don't have an ETA. I also don't know who owns it anymore? Some dude in Panama who happens to work for a subsidiary company of a three letter agency?

    The amount of servers has also been diminishing over the years, instead of creating better infrastructure and expanding, they spend it all on sponsoring Youtubers on the same level as squarespace.

  3. I』m confused, on my iPhone I use IKEv2 on NordVPN and pretty sure the Mac client also has it, don』t see why windows wouldn』t

  5. Wireguard is designed to be simple and lightweight. Out of the box it only has as much code as necessary. Since Wireguard is opensource, VPN providers can modify it for increased privacy. And that is what NordVPN did with NordLynx. So good job. Let's see if other VPNs will do something similar.

    I watch all your video`s and i have a question.
    I have a teleohone provider Vodafone.
    I call for free from the Netherlands to EU 100 minutes and from all other countrys in the EU i dont have a limit.
    Only from my own country.
    So now the qestion, When I use a VPN, is that also working to let my telephone provider think that i am in another country?
    I dont know because I use a point where the singnal comes from.
    Do you know this?

  9. Another great video Tom! I recently switched to ExpressVPN and am having a great experience! I tried both TorGuard and VyprVPN as well, although both were and still are good services for some reason they were very slow for me. I guess its just where I live. ExpressVPN is much faster than both of them for me and has a very stable connection. Thanks for the quality reviews which guided me to making the right decision!
