IMO, TNA's "suits" operated on the premise that if they could get enough  WWE, WCW and/or ECW veterans onto the roster, those "names" would provide the buzz needed to build the company.  That's not meant as an indictment of Hogan, Flair, Sting or Kurt Angle but the fact is that all of them are either in the twilight of their careers or actually done.  TNA really could be doing more to groom "homegrown" talent like EC3 or Kerry King to step up, because they are definitely going to need these guys when Angle finally decides to hang up his boots and singlet because the top, current names in WWE are NOT going to TNA for work, everything else being equal…but I'm not sure TNA's "suits" see this.  It is telling that Jeff Jarrett, a man who literally was raised in the wrestling business, would feel the need to move on from a promotion that he basically started.  As much as I respect him, I would not watch The Undertaker for five seconds in a TNA show…but I suspect TNA would sign him in a heartbeat at the end of his WWE career.  I still think TNA can survive and thrive, but only if they don't—or stop—try to "out-MacMahon" Vince MacMahon—a third-generation wrestling promoter who is also arguably the sharpest business genius in the industry (who else ever made a billion dollars off wrestling?)

  7. TNA should've just stayed on the course with their growth as a wrestling company. Having Hogan making his TNA debut in 2010 was awesome. TNA should've never created the Band, the Wolf Pack 2.0 sable. It was just copying and non original and grew old quick. Also having Fortune vs. Immortal was not a bad idea but was to early. What I mean was Fortune should've been the one a only team running TNA.

  8. Tna never really grow cuz of the constant bashing on tna even when they where on the golden eras by wwe fanboys plus spike never really caring about them. I hope destination america doesnt treat them like how spike did

  10. TNA is going down. I feel bad cause they have so much potential behind doors. And WWE… since 96' I've been a fan… But it's sad to say that I can predict if what will happen next week by watching one episode before. I hate to say that but man how I loved them days of "Ruthless Aggression".. so I honestly feel that GFW IS the upcoming competition

  11. Great interview. Unfortunately, Jeff Jarrett doesn't seem to be doing his own promotion, more or less seeming to put other companies on the air right now. Maybe that's why he hasn't named any sort of roster, and instead, all the affiliations. GFW's like a US version of The Wrestling Channel thing that UK had.

    I hope he does comedy after wrestling, he has a lot of talent there as well, just check out some of his and Kaz' videos.

  13. I think JJ MUST sign DANIELS & KAZ ASAP 2 GFW & bring them in…THE HARDYS…GENERATION ME/YOUNG BUCKS…LAX…as well 2 establish a TRULY LEGIT TAG TEAM division…
