GFW I presume you mean Great Fire Wall, in which case Shadowsocks is useless, you need to re-think the contents to better systems like V2ray and Trojan, plus if you were to use Shadowsocks (which is good for some places) then just go install google Outline which gives you the simplest method to install. and a much better client which doesn't need you to change some apps to manual proxy settings. The PAC BTW mode is designed for China.
