The CCP's program to acquire American kids information is disgusting. Just think what they could do with information obtained from possibly birth to Adult. They could create perfect Deep, Deep fakes. They could even advertise directly to you before even you know what you want. The health care system would crash. And then the clones. So far the CCP has shown the World that it scoffs at international law/laws.

Another reason is because the US government cannot control information (such as riots in the US) because Tiktok is not a US social media. The majority of Tiktok users are anti-Trump and they make videos about BlackLivesMatter in the US and infuriates Trump. So to control information, they must ban Tiktok or take over Tiktok.
US social media is out of date and cannot compete with Chinese social media. So they copied Tiktok. But that didn't work, so they want to destroy Tiktok. Isn't that a shame for the US, who is said to be a technology leader?
