  3. In other words you have to hook it up to the router and to your computer (in my case) for faster internet speed so it's not wireless which is what I really wanted. Is there a wall plug I can buy that will make my internet faster but is wireless or must I use more cables. (I hate cables).

  4. So quick question. If I have a building that is like 60 – 80 ft away from my main house as long as the power in that building is directly from my house then this will still work?

  5. Thanks for the info! My combination router/modem is at the front end of my home, so my WiFi 「dead zones」 are at the back of my house. If I purchase this product, will I be able to use my wireless devices in the back of the house without connecting the Ethernet cable from the second plug I would place at the back of the house. In other words, will this product work as a WiFi extender for wireless devices?

  9. Hello there, I』m i right in understanding that the power line adapters have to be on the same electric circuit?
    The plug I』m using for the modem & 1st power line adapter is on the kitchen circuit, I have a separate fuse/trip that goes to the outside garage which is where I want the other receiver for Wi-Fi in that garage & office.

Hi Leron I clicked on your link to amazon but it arrived in the USA amazon site I live in the UK so I went to the UK amazon site the power line adapters on that site has the USA type plug sockets but the ones on the USA web site for amazon has the UK type web site do they supply an adapter with the kit I was wondering if they do regard jimmy

  13. New to your channel and love the content. I ordered from Amazon and will be delivered tomorrow. I』ve been testing my current speed so I have a good idea how well this works for me. House is about 75 years old and wiring the same. It』s worth a try. I』ll post an update on it. Thanks.

    Update: set up the Zyxel and it works like a champ. I did some speed tests for a couple of days prior and I was consistently getting pings/download/upload at 16/35/9, now after the adapter installed 16/75/11. I』m all in on this now. Been WFH since March and had ok speed but would have times when connection drops. I got new modem and router back in March and had all the outside wires replaced due to squirrels. The connection is on the same circuit with 75 year old inside wiring. My service is 100 meg. Awesome product as far as I』m concerned. No doubt that there are a lot of variables to look at before buying but for the price it was worth it to try. Only negative I would say is that the cables that come with it are 3 feet (just shy of a meter) so they are worthless.

  15. I wish you would have posted this about two months ago! Oh well, I'm still happy with what I got.

    A friend tipped me off to powerline adapters about two months ago. I've struggled for years with spotty wi-fi signals because the router is on the bottom floor and on the other side of the house. I purchased a Tenda PLA and it changed everything for me. The internet connection has been rock-solid for gaming, streaming and just in general! Speed-wise, it's the exact same as when I was on wi-fi.

  18. How well does this work when there are 「noisy」 devices like washers or freezers on the same circuit? Other reviews of extenders seem to suggest that this is a potential problem?

  27. This looks absolutely ? ? fantastic, except one thing. These power lines in the home should have mu-metal shielding as well as silver mesh radio frequency shielding. Emfs are a real problem we should all know about. That being said, this may be a far less dangerous assault then wifi. I'm not sure which is safer. But this new device with proper shielding would be a true gamechanger for emf sensitive individuals.

  28. What happens if you have a house more than one floor. Each floor would have a different circuits going from the one electric mains. 2 seperate circuits.
