  1. My Cousin has the sony xh90 65"
I tested it this weekend with my pc with an rtx 3090 via HDMI 2.1.
    IT'S an absolutely insane TV…65" for 1150€.
    Great picture and motion handling.
We tested also hdr with gears5, blorderlands3, doom eternal, red dead 2…
    Sony os the best bang4thebuck.
    Point!

Yes old is great but…get the 65" for 1150€ …here. Double price…but not twice as good.

  2. Vincent I have noticed with the Sony x90h when switched to game mode default the tv has local dimming set to medium, is the input lag 15 ms at 4k 60 with local dimming at medium or turned off? Does local dimming on the x90h impact input lag ??

  3. Hi man, I've a question that I can't seem to find an answer for. I'm considering either the Q90T or the LG CX but I've heard that when these tv's are connected to the next gen consoles there are serious issues with flickering when using Hdmi 2.1 at 4k 120hertz with VRR enabled. This is a deal breaker for me if so but not many youtubers have mentioned it just yet. LG have said it cannot be fixed with a firmware update either, so if the Q90T suffers the same I might have to wait till next year ?

  4. Very cool video, thanks?. I want to buy myself a 48CX for PS5 to play in HDR mode, and I like to play dark games (Demon's Souls, Control, The Evil Within, Resident Evil 2), but I was told on the forum that OLED does not perform well in this. Because OLED has a pronounced black, which means that in shadows and dark areas, I will not see details due to too much difference in black?. How true and critical is this? Which TV is best for dark gaming in a dark room?? Sorry for my english and hello from Ukraine. ?‍♀️

  5. For a similar price (50 USD difference), would you buy a 55" LG BX or a 65" X900H? 95% for gaming next gen. Slightly concerned about the 120Hz blur issue on the Sony.

  6. Amazingly thorough video. Xbox player here is very impressed. Getting a CX. If I want to use Atmos what is the ideal setup with xbox reciever and CX? eArc seems like the only option?

  7. The lg cx don't support dts?I have astro a50 with base station. And i'm using dts x spatail surround sound(virtual dts x surround sound). The Astro a50 base station connect to optical port but the xbox series x doesn"t have optical port. The only way to connect to optical port is connect it to the lg cx.And the lg cx doesn't support dts?So will it be dts if i connect the base station with optical to the lg cx optical port?

  8. I'm curious, isn't burn-in a issue with OLED when using the TV for gaming? A lot of games have HUD elements that are always onscreen. If I play video games for several hours a day every day won't that cause burn-in on a OLED screen? Especially a few years down the line?

  9. The Sony is probably the best overall when factoring price or if you have concerns of burn in. If you want the absolute best image go with the CX and spend the extra $$

  10. I think maybe you should compare the XH90 directly to the XF90. Would be interesting to see if there is even a difference since the XH90 lacks true HDMI 2.1 support. For example, I heard that the XH90 can not do 4K120fps and just upscales from 4K60fps.

  11. I bought myself the Q90T 65". Have to say, all are great, but also do have some problems. So far this is what I've found about the tv's.

CX has VRR problems with the gamma and doesn't look that pretty. Burn in. No freesync.

Q90T can suffer from backlight bleeding on empty screens when nothing is displayed. Bad black uniformity. 1 hdmi2.1 port. No dolby vision. (Mine has that cloudy effect).

X900H doesn't support HDR on 120hz and what is displayed becomes blurry. Also can have the backlight bleeding problem.

Still thinking if I should change the Q90T for a CX, what would you guys advise?

  12. I never spend much money on TVs, but I ended up forking up for the 65" LG CX due to the timing being perfect. This TV will basically stay top tier for several more years and probably won't need changing for 10 years.

  13. What is annoying the heck out of me is the lacking HDMI 2.1 support with many models except LG. If I spend 1000€ or even 2000€ on a TV now I want it to last for at least 5-7 years or longer, not immediately have lacking features with my new console..

  14. On CX firmware, what is different between .25 and .26? I upgraded to .26 via usb and stucked with it. On website .25 is the newest and does not show .26 anymore.
With .26, can I output Xbox Series X at 4k 120hz or not fix yet?

  15. God this is all getting so complicated.

Also wtf why does ps5 work fine with hdmi 2.1 on the AVR but not the Xbox??
