  1. You can use HWINFO64, no compatibility mode needed, monitor in your task bar total DL, total UP, as well as DL rate and UP rate. And using any Norton antivirus is a foolish move. Sorry dude, stop leading people the wrong way.

  2. There's a free program called "My Network Speed", that looks more attractive, and is much easier to read. You can't put it on the taskbar, buy you can tuck it anywhere else on the screen, where it's unobtrusive, and after a while, you don't notice it, unless you want to check the speed. Only drawback, you get a nag screen for 10 seconds on startup, asking for donation. No nag if you donate.

  3. You do not need to do this. There is a perfectly nice app from Store that can be pinned to the taskbar IF you'd really want ti there, god knows why.

  4. Why the hell would anyone want that on their taskbar. Stop throwing 3rd party junk on 10. People ignore this rubbish. Or the other stuff you told Folks to put on their taskbar… no reason to want that there, either.

  5. Program works very well in Win 10, besides have used software in Win7, and 8,1 as well, And is one of first items installed when Win10 installed.
Great program, because you see speeds (up and down) as well as it keeps a log of overall data transfers as well. Love app. HIGHLY reecommend.

  6. Thank you for this very informative video. However, I installed NetSpeedMonitor but the Upload & Download speeds aren't working. They remain at 0 for both. Any advice?

  7. Great Video Thanks> My readings are weird when its set to read MB/s changed it to read Mbits/s and then it appears to be correct as per the google speed test 🙂

  8. Honestly, XMeters does a much better job if you ask me. It's free for personal use as well and a little bit newer (Windows XP?!? LOL).
