  10. I actually found myself writing a list of themes by the end of the movie: 1. Us old heads should not stop believing just because life deals us a bad hand. And we shouldn't pass down our bitterness to the next generation, either. 2. Young people, never stop believing in yourself, no matter what us old heads say. 3. Fathers, your daughters (and sons) miss you and need you and are waiting to forgive you. Reach out again. And again. And again. 4. Daughters (and sons) sometimes parents say away to keep from polluting you with our issues. We are sorry. We need you to help us believe again. Watched it Sunday with my adult daughter. We both loved it. Anything with Forrest, Phyllicia, and Anika in it, I'M WATCHING! (Well, almost anything. I don't do horror, lol.)
