  10. 30° on the outside of the console is insane. Directly pointed at the CPU and it would probably been closer to 60-70° and that's serious. Measuring the case outside is not telling me CPU temps

  16. Man your house is freezing. For a good review take it to 20 degrees room temperature. Also at 30 degrees celcius for those countries where air conditioning is not common.

  30. 50c is good my 1080ti runs at 70c under heavy load and in the summer when it』s real hot I』ve seen it creep up to 75c before. Still going strong 3 years later.

  31. "Toasty" What you want to prove here. It's super normal and even cooler than I expected. Take same camera near any laptop's vent, It'll go near 60° C.
    If you don't know about tech atleast research a bit about subject before putting over public

  33. So…. were not using 「credible」 equipment to measure what could possibly be a determining choice or reason for some or many to not buy a console the smartest thing to do? Any credit C- Net had has gone totally out of the window.

  36. You have 14 degrees in your room? Wtf, no wonder you're sitting with a hat indoors. This also gives a faulty reading since most people have an ambient temperature around 20-23 degrees.

  41. I didn't get past the first minute of the video, because I see he's using a cell phone – not an actual Thermal Camera designed for that purpose. So he's using a phone app. He doesn't cite what the app or phone type is (maybe he does at the end of the video, but he should do that at start to be credible). He should have several Real Thermal cameras pointed at it, to provide truly scientific results. I don't care about PS5 or Xbox Series X right now because frankly, every new console launch comes with bugs/glitches/issues. I always tell people to wait at least a year to purchase a unit which is Truly Functional. It's just about being the "First to have one" when a console launches, and these Game companies know this – they are only looking to see high sales numbers at launch, and at the expense of the suckers who buy them.
