ChatGPT Pro is Officially Here! (But Should You Upgrade?)

In this video, I reveal the exciting news about OpenAI quietly rolling out a subscription-based version of ChatGPT known as ChatGPT Professional or better known as ChatGPT Pro.

This premium version of ChatGPT offers new capabilities and features for power users. I’ll be diving into the details of what sets ChatGPT Pro apart from the free version and discussing its potential impact on the AI industry.

I’ll also briefly touch on using Jasper Chat. Whenever ChatGPT goes down, I just switch to using Jasper Chat as an alternative.

  1. I just got the PRO version. It's now 25 USD (inc. 25% VAT) per month. I use it for a variety of things, verything from code development to exploring investment analysis. I find it very useful, and I am happy to sponsor such a project that assist so many in their daily jobs etc. I will be kept as a pet when AI comes for all of you cheap bastards… 😀

  2. I'll buy a jailbreak version in which the content policy is thrown out the window. Otherwise it really doesn't matter.

  3. I was wondering how this pay plan or the free plan, links with Bing and the access to GPT. So it looks like it's going to be available as a standard search tool does it not? Unless of course that will be a premium plan in which case Bing are going to put Google out of business by finally being able to monetise actual searches….who knows?

  4. if people working making enough money (no problem) everyone have to make some kind of money. so but for those who just starting, let it be free, and once they get to understanding it. they will advance to paying for it. if it is a good deal, why not.

  5. For a business I'd stick with the paid API service

ChatGpt in itself has no real features when you compare all the stuff you can theoretically do with the api

Sounds like a overpriced version with no bells and whistles

You can just grab Notion which now has gpt integrated (beta), and is way cheaper ^^

  6. The one feature I was really hoping for is the ability to upload files to it (or point it to a shared folder in onedrive, google drive, dropbox, etc) and have it learn about all the data in the files so you can ask it questions about the files. A great use case for this would be uploading the manuals to everything you own (phones, cars, electronic devices, software, technical books, hand written documentation, etc) so you can ask it questions on the data.

  7. I am one of the only few of the $42 Pro user. Its not going to be $42 anymore though. They just announced $20 for the Plus plan. also, the $42 pro users were changed to $20 Plus and were offered 1 year of free Plus subscription.
