Trojan Boat Series 5: The CAR WIZARD 🧙‍♂️ has finished all the major repairs and updates on the 1974 Trojan F36 Tri-Cabin.

Is it absolutely done? No, it’s a boat after all. There are things that can still be updated and repaired, and periodic updates will follow.

Don’t miss El Capitan’s SeaRay. It has quite the story behind it as well.

  1. Bonjour .could you help me i just bought à trojan 1973 .same size as yours .i would like to no where could i bie a manifold for this boat and other pieces.merci love your show..

  2. Man ur guys yacht is classy… it's always super cool when someone brings one of those back to life they just have so much character.. I've always prefers the sharp razor like shape of old boats compared to the wide round look alotta newer crafts look.

  3. Check out Poli Glow. Maid for boat and fiberglass. It's Very effective. It lasts, I have used. Goes on quick and easy and you just build up 4 or 5 coats and your good to go for years. The time you spent on the wax buff thing you could of cleaned and put the first two coats on. I used on a 42 foot Chris Craft from 86 that had sat for 10 years. Any good chrome cleaner will clean up rub rail and chrome to like new. Poli Glow will even make your stairs look good. Don' do the treads. Teak does better with good cleaner and oil in my experience. Enjoy!!!!

  4. Hi Mr. Wizard try graphing it』s called 303 graphing spray after you clean it you spray it on you hose it off it』s amazing how it repels everything

  5. We stopped counting the dollars spent and switched to marine units. For a twin gas inboard boat, 1 Marine unit is equal to $2000.00 USD. An interesting fact in my state of Washington, the registration would list that boat as "power inboard gas" or pig. Never install fuel flow meters on it or you'll be selling it. If you're calculating fuel in gallons per hour, you're already lying to yourself.
We finally sold our pig after nearly 30 years and it was worth every marine unit in memories.
Our kids and grandkids still talk about how much fun they had.
    Good for you.

  6. Dear wizard,
Restore gel coat with wet sanding , 600grit,1000grit, compound with rotary polisher , polish with 3 M fiinessit 2, then marine wax. The boat will look like new after 80 hours labor and 200 bucks in materials.

  7. I would put new in, and fix it the right way and the best way, then you know it is fixed right. I like you and your husband videos , we need an honest mechanic and excellent mechanic where we live. Kevin Phoenix

  8. What a heck of a cool boat! I love the classic charm of the teak wood and Mrs. Wizard did a wonderful job restoring it. Great job walking through the mechanics of these boats for us who aren』t too familiar with anything bigger than a 14 foot aluminum!

  9. I'm kinda sad I spent the last 2 days watching all the boat vids and now I'm caught up with no more boat content. Guess it's time the wizard buys a new one!!!
