Most VPNs indeed put users vulnerable since traffic can be seen by them. Never trust VPN privacy policies or any other bullshit they throw to make you believe how safe it is to use VPN.

TechCrunch did kind of a poor job on this one. I was informed by Nord and it was a single user's connection that got hacked. Only that user was affected or could have been affected and the issue has been rectified.

Nord vpn has been cracked for years. Anybody can do it
I don't like how people keep on believing VPN's like Nord, don't log, even though it has been all but proven they do. People who have used NordVPN have gotten DMCA notices, the only ways that an end user can be identified, and sent a DMCA notice, is via the company volunteering the information (meaning they log) or if the person issuing the notice can see the real unmasked IP address, which should be impossible through a VPN.
