  3. US is raking in 7 billion a month in tariff income. That's more than the clear adjusted profit reduction of all US exports per month, since tarrifs begun. That's a win. Tariffs are raking in more clear income, than the reduced profits from the slow down in exports. People that use the argument "ahh but we are getting cheap imported goods" don't understand the marco cost associated with that market taker argument. i.e. the cost of being a market taker dependent on cheap imports, at the cost of the nation forgoing jobs, creating, producing, exporting, earning income and profit potential and buying power. There's a host of other long term costs also. Loss of skills and leading edge knowledge and skills required to activate markets, make sales and take more profits. That's without even factoring all the socio-economic problems and costs that go along with not being a producer and exporter. It will take the west 10 to 20 years to recover from its mistakes of being an overly dependent market taker. That's why China has been getting rich and the US poor. Doh !

  4. The commies save themselves billions and billions of dollars from reduced and postpone tariffs. They came to negotiation table after mid-term election, stringing along then renegaded. It shouldn't be a surprise if they do that again during next year's general election.

  8. This agreement is essentially an agreement between the two sides, no one wins or loses. The overseas Anti China forces advocate that "China wins", which is to provoke the Americans, make them feel that they have suffered losses and hit China again, which is worthy of condemnation! Americans don't trust them, or you should test your IQ

  10. Trump scores a YUGE win in the trade war. Trump is the greatest deal maker ever in the universe who knows every essence of the Art of the Deal.

  11. IF china buys agricultural products from USA – what good will does china have with Brazil and Argentina who were ready to sell China agricultural products when USA wanted to bully China.
