  4. What is Lou smiling about? Trump just signed a partial deal after saying he would never sign a partial trade deal. Sounds like another loss to me.. Oh Lou is smiling because he pays less taxes, puts more money in his greedy pocket and loves to take food stamps away from the poor.. What a bad joke your country is.

    Of course, that’s not the way he and his team are portraying the tentative deal they’ve struck with China, which they’re claiming as a triumph. The reality is that the Trump administration achieved almost none of its goals; it has basically declared victory while going into headlong retreat.

    Prior to tariff increase
    $100 = $100 in goods
    15% tariff added
    $115 = $100 in goods
    7.5% tariff reduction with this trade deal
    $107.50= $100 in goods.
    Seems to me we had a $7.50 price increase per $100 in goods.
    Yep a great deal.
    Winning!!!!!

  23. we need to remove trade barriers like people have warts removed, the UK and the US need each others help, protection and trade like never before we have £1 trillion and $1 trillion invested in each other, we could do with a multi lateral chamber of commerce with each other?! The ASEAN Nations will by 2050 be as big as the EU and China may Outpace the USA. We need whole broader more balanced view of our respective economies and work in toe to the greatest mutual benefit possible.
