  1. To be blunt, it doesn't hurt me. There is nothing made in China that I can't get from elsewhere. That your investors put money into China is their stupidity. China under Xi doesn't like foreign devils and no outsider ever owned anything in China or under a communist government. Time to move your investments elsewhere. India might be a good choice.

  3. Cut the crap, there is no "free market." We have crony capitalism where the mega rich bribe (lobby) politicians for favorable legislation. We don't have "free trade" either you lying scoundrels. We have TRADE DEALS where the corrupt politicians pick the winners and losers.

  4. Let's not forget that China is a bloodthirsty communist state they killed 50 million of its own people. Is there no one else we can do business with.

  7. I agree trade wars are bad for businesses, workers and consumers but something had to be done about the intellectual property theft by China. Which is a national security issue.

  11. What about the worker? I never hear anyone talking about him. Sure, we might not be able to buy as much pointless crap as we used to, but we can afford the things that matter now, like houses, cars, and healthcare.

  13. The trade war is a necessary evil. China must be brought to heel. Look at the companies who have bent the knee to enter China. They prostrate themselves, abandoning all pretense of values they're so keen to virtue signal in the west. China is a vampire sucking the intellectual property of the west in return for access to their oppressed market. A market which can be withdrawn upon the whim of one of the 'more equal'. These companies are so blinded by the false promise of a free market china they've cucked the west that made them. Its become an embarrassment to see so many companies fall from grace.

    In undoubtedly the most symbolic example of corporate cuckery to China the NBA is literally wrenching signs supporting freedom from fans during the star spangled banner. America is hardly the 'home of the brave' when it kowtows to authoritarians like the Chinese.
