That hike! That breakfast! That beef noodle! Taiwan surpassed our expectations at every step. Thanks so much for watching, can’t wait for you all to see the next two episodes, and if you haven’t already, make sure to watch the first ??
Great hosting, shooting and editing. This (and the Taiwanese night market video) are my first Eater YouTube vids and am hooked! Well done iz and team. Love from ireland xx

Awsome Video! Sleepy boys – Awsome Parents!
Reminds me of my youth from 1953 to 1956.

We just got home from taiwan. The beef noodle soup from Jiufen Old st was the best beef noodle soup i’ve ever tasted. The flavor and meat is outstanding. Can anyone give me the recipe? Thanks!
I lived in Taiwan for more than 20 years…The Beef Noodle soup was the best I ever had…ANYWHERE.. Absolutely delicious.. In fact, Taiwan long held the reputation of making the very best Chinese food…in the world. I have no reason to doubt that THAT reputation continues to this day !!
Damn! I have been there, it’s close to where I live! Guys best place! Have to visit! Need address? Leave the comment below

That Vox guy only has one jacket?
And this how you do a food vlog, describing each dish well.
I'm Taiwanese but im sorry…i dont approve 永康牛肉麵 xD…. (the beef noodles you guys have). However, tastes is subjective and I'm glad you enjoyed Taiwanese cuisine 🙂
This made me miss Taiwan. I super enjoyed my time there and yes! their beef noodles is the best
I have never seen a not-raining Jiufen.
Cute family, welcome to Taiwan ?
Mmm broth cooking on the floor, looks real sanitary. Smf gross
When was this shot? It's NEVER cold in Taiwan except maybe in January when the daytime high gets to 60F.
I don't know how I found this channel. Your video is awesome, the beef noodles look so tasty, and your boys are really cute. I especially admire your skill of eating while holding your not-so-small-anymore sleeping kid ??
What a pro-mom furreal. Kids asleep? No problem, still got it. Oh also "Jiu" is pronounced more like the name Joe (in case you wanna ask locals about it).
Soup… that’s an important word describing this
Lol there is no "traditional Chinese beef noodle" because there's literally dozens of different variations of beef noodle soups in China from different regions. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup is heavily modelled about the Sichuanese beef noodle soup.
are we watching a video on noodles or is it a documentary on how western parents obsess with their kids?
Don't like this show, typical expats taste
??
中国台湾 – Taiwan, China
5:00 When that bass dropped, you know that the BEEF is coming!
pfffff , USING 99.9999 % CHINESE CULTURE BUT STILL DENIED THAT THEY ARE CHINESE ARE BLOW MY MIND
HOW IGNORANT AND DENIAL THEY ARE
BWAHAHHAHAHHAHA
我不明白為什麼他們無法在這一部分找到台灣記者
I’m ethnic Taiwanese American from an older generation Taiwanese family, so “Goo bah mi” (Taiwanese term meaning “beef noodle”) or “niuro mien” was not truly a staple food in our daily lies. I always got the sense that beef noodle soup was something that came into Taiwan with the 20th century Chinese immigrants that displaced the previous ruling Japanese government. My parents were of the first generation that experienced the Kuomingtang takeover of Taiwan, and so they weren’t exposed as much to foods like beef noodle soup that even were considered “foreign” by the ethnic Taiwanese like my family.
my favorite place to go whenever im in taiwan is Halal Chinese Beef Noodle Restaurant located at No. 1號, Alley 7, Lane 137, Yanji Street, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106. michelin recommended and super cheap
