香港警方周日发射催泪瓦斯，以驱散一场集会，抗议集会是对为期一个月的民主示威活动中对警察行为的担忧，抗议者诅咒警官并称他们为“黑帮警察”。组织者在海滨公园举行了示威游行，但警方表示，这次集会是未经授权的，并在命令抗议者离开后与抗议者进行对峙。

  2. Police reacts the same everywhere: in U.S. blacks do not understand that the law protects the common good, so they continuously ignore it. Blacks are putting their shoes on public property, then they shout at the police if warned not to do it. Of course the police becomes angry and push these blacks away by force. In Hongkong the protesters are like these blacks, always challenging the police by damaging public property. The Terminator should be police man.

  3. The CPP are in a power struggle anything can happen. The protesters and Hong Kong people should come out in the millions shoulder to shoulder and block all roads but no violence.

  9. The terms in the Hong Kong Basic Law cannot be changed in the middle of the contract by using violence without suffering the consequences. This is the rule of law.

    It's like trying to break a 50-year loan from your bank after 22 years by carrying out arson attacks and vandalizing the bank facilities just because you are now having second thoughts regarding the payment at the end of the term. The right way is to take the bank to court and challenge the case before the judges. Alternatively, you can also try to renegotiate with the bank in a civilized manner and through dialogue whereby you could be granted an extension beyond the 50-year period.

  10. The number taking part in such marches is dwindling because the movement has lost its moral grounds with their delusional actions. They are left with only one option which is to increase the violence in order to keep them in the media spotlight.

  11. Nothing new……violence for sake of violence with no purpose or endgame. It's like watching the same movie over and over again. This movement is becoming the butt joke of the world.

  20. Excellent job Hong Kong police. They have been fighting fierce protesters who burn, loot, hurling petrol bombs, for four months – Zero death! Where else on earth can you find such a civilised and restrained security force.

  23. Most of the time the journalists have their cameras facing the police instead of those mobs, the journalists have no guts shooting the mobs(who covered their faces) abusing civilians, destroying public facilities and shouting abusive language because they're afraid of the mobs
