  4. People here like to bring up referendums, but fail to understand that human rights should never be put up for a vote. Suck it haters. Same-sex marriage will continue to be legal in more countries.

  11. Cringe worthy.  And I am ashamed of my country Taiwan. This is so stupid. Alienating half the population voters so a few thousand can get their debatable "rights" in a country of 23 million. Now KMT will likely win 2020 and Taiwan will become part of China.

  18. against referendum. Also Taiwan is technically not a country so the fact remains there is still no asian country with gay marriage.

  20. no to gay marraige yes to mother and father if gays say love is love then who are they to say incest isnt love is love. if abortion is a womens rights issue then why are so many female babies aborted.

  33. citizens of taiwan through the referendum voted no on same-sex marriage, parliament says yes…parliament trumps peoples voice because yes it's a democracy. ?

  37. im so glad to see China (Republic of China) became the first country to legalized the same sex marriage in Asia. Republic of China was the first country founded with democracy constitution in East Asia. Now China is the most freedom country in east Asia. ROC and USA were allies during ww2, and I hope China and America can lead the world as the most democracy countries.
